PORTAL CRANES WITH DOUBLE JIB SYSTEM

In 1932, the ARDELT factory invented a double-jib system with a hinged-articulated boom. The factory is still improving the mechanism. The advantages of the system guarantee maximum handling productivity.

KONDOR (SOKOL)

The double-jib cranes have been operating in ports around the world for many years and became a worldwide standard of handling equipment. KONDOR is a modern trend that was created through the use of advanced technologies.

KONDOR portal cranes are well known for their easy maintenance, durability and reliability, high performance, precise positioning, and minimal swaying due to shorter rope length and a shorter horizontal loading path.

KONDOR is the multifunctional crane for handling of various types of bulk and piece cargo. They also perfectly fit for container handling in river and sea ports.

TUKAN

TUKAN is a safe and indispensable crane for operations in ports. It is particularly popular at universal terminals, where it can be effectively used for handling of any kind of bulk and piece cargo. TUKAN is perfect for handling of containers in river and sea ports. Crane models have 3 different modifications. Each model has specific characteristics and depends on the required load capacity.

TUKAN 750

The crane is designed mainly for cargo handling in inland ports. With a boom up to 27 meters and a rail span of the portal of 10.5 meters, it can easily handle all vessels that travel on inland waterways and successfully service the first generation of container vessels with a capacity of up to 1200 TEU.

TUKAN 1500

The crane is designed for the seaports work. A variety of boom lengths (32, 35, 40, 45 m) allow to service from the Handymax class vessels (32 m) to Capasize (45 m) and 3rd generation container ships.

TUKAN 3000

The largest model of the series and has a maximum boom length from 50 to 63 meters. With a nominal portal gauge of 15 meters, the crane can effectively unload bulk cargoes from Capesize class vessels and service Post-Panamax class container ships.

PELIKAN

PELIKAN is a balancing portal crane and one of the latest development of KOCKS ARDELT KRANBAU. Balancing cranes greatly exceed the efficiency of traditional rope cranes when the scrap is overloaded. PELIKANbalancing cranes have great performance and overload speed. Due to its high outreach and load capacity, PELIKAN can replace several units of mobile equipment, and the increased depth of the lowering allows to use the crane for vessels unloading. PELIKAN can be flexibly adapted to local conditions by applying different portal designs. The ability of quick replacement of the handling accessories allows to use the crane for various types of handlings.

A feature of the crane is the mechanical coupling of the front boom and the moving counterweight with a tension rod. It reduces the impact on the pivot point of the crane boom and reduces the expended energy to change the outreach of the boom. This is a huge advantage towards the excavators. The grab is mechanically attached, directly to the boom. Use of ropes is avoided and that allows crane to operate in scrap handling. It is also possible to manufacture a crane with different types of portal: fixed, on a rail, or track. Other executions may be specially ordered. Due to the patented balanced counterweight principle, PELIKAN is more cost-effective than excavatorand faster than rope crane.
